Hi, I’m Jeff — Coach, Guide, and Fitness Expert. I’m dedicated to redefining what fitness looks like in the 2nd half of life.

If your goal is to live a long and healthy life, welcome, you're in the right place.

We’re playing a long game here, and the good news is I have the playbook. And not from the sidelines — everything I teach, I live.

Progress is My Passion

Growing up, my dad always encouraged small changes over time instead of rushing the process. Years later, that mindset — what the Japanese call Kaizen— has become the foundation of my life and my coaching.

I find joy in helping people make real progress through functional fitness: building the strength and stamina to not just survive, but thrive.

After decades of coaching people from all walks of life, I’ve developed a unique perspective on what it really takes to get — and stay — strong, fit, and healthy in the second half of life.

Whether you’re starting fresh, coming back from an injury, stuck in a rut, or just need some expert guidance and accountability, I got you.

My “Stronger Longer” Mindset

You’ve probably heard, “the more you do, the better the result.”

Yeah... no. More isn’t better. Better is better.

My approach is about sustainable change — not punishing workouts or unrealistic routines, but smart, strategic progress that fits your life.

Say goodbye to the old stories: no time, too tired, not confident enough, no gym. There’s a better way. One that’s approachable, doable, and actually lasts.

We’ll build a physical practice that fits your lifestyle, your schedule, and your goals — so you can be healthy, fit, and strong for the long haul.

Why Am I Fit to Coach You?

I grew up in Southern California and started personal training in the early ’80s — right when fitness was exploding across the country. I had a front-row seat to all of it: the good, the bad, and the misguided.

This is what motivated me to get certifications in Exercise Science (University of California, Los Angeles; Master of Sports Sciences from the International Sports Sciences Association; MovNat (Certification Team Instructor), Functional Movement Systems, Strong First Kettlebell, and more).

From early on, I saw that the key to lasting results wasn’t maxing out reps or following restrictive diets. It was understanding how the body works — especially as it ages — and learning how to increase strength, reduce the risk of injury, and feel better over time.

With 40+ years of coaching under my belt, I know how to help people in their 50s, 60s, and beyond create a physical practice they can sustain — and thrive with — for life.

The Bottom Line:

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to start. Let’s build a practice that helps you live stronger, longer.

  • "Jeff was a tremendous help in preparing me for one of my best all-time seasons. And then again after retirement."

    - Katie Smith, OSU/Big Ten, WNBA and Olympic basketball superstar (3x Olympic Gold medalist)

  • "I was hesitant at first because most male trainers I had worked with in the past bypassed my physical issues and were focused on intensity. Jeff listened and programmed according to how I was feeling that day, and also what he could see I could execute well and progress safely."

    - Laura T.

  • "As a physical therapist/strength coach myself, I truly value Jeff's approach to coaching, health and fitness. You won't find anyone who cares about your success more."

    - Matt L., DPT, SFG

  • "We accomplished my goal in only 4 sessions. Lastly we did every session over zoom which worked out much better than I had expected."

    - Jason J.

Let's start with a free 30-minute stronger longer strategy session to discuss your goals and how I can help you create and maintain a lifelong physical practice that you love.
